The company Robdos presented the submarine robotic systems and their energy operative aspects. Robdos was born with the objective of developing marine robotic systems and monitoring and automation systems in the marine environment.
When we talk about underwater robotic systems we focus on 3 categories of unmanned platforms:
-RoVs or remotely operated.
-The AUV or completely autonomous.
-The hybrid vehicles.
-The gliders or underwater gliders.
Going into some examples intono this type of system we have:
-ROV’s typically light with cameras and some sonar, light vehicles adapted to operate in depth through a specific LARS and a deployment garage.
-Trenching vehicles or ditches by water jet
-And mechanically actuated vehicles that are even prepared to deploy a light ROV from their lower skate and thus have visibility and inspection capacity in areas of complex geometry
