Hyundai wants to generate electricity with hydrogenjueves, 09 mayo 2019 Hyundai Motor Company has signed an agreement with local energy companies Korea East-West Power (EWP) and Deokyang to generate electricity from hydrogen. The pilot project will develop a 1 megawatt (MW) hydrogen fuel cell power plant. Hyundai Motor provides the fuel cell system, EWP will manage the installation and sale of electricity, and Deokyang will supply the hydrogen.The 1 MW power installation, scheduled to start later this year in Ulsan, will consist of two 500 kW container-type generator modules, each loaded with multiple power modules.
