Hydrogen knocks on the doormiércoles, 13 junio 2018 Four European companies create a system to supply urban fleets or populations with this chemical element obtained from renewable sources. Hydrogen as an energy source is one of the alternatives to free ourselves from the use of fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas and its devastating environmental and economic effects. But it is necessary that its procurement be clean, available and the cost is affordable. Four European companies (one German, one Danish and two Spanish) have opened the door to make it a reality. The entities, each specializing in one phase of the process of production and distribution of hydrogen, are already working on the supply of this chemical element, generated from renewable energies, to the bus fleet of the German city of Rennerod, located to the north of Frankfurt, or to populations of Scotland.
