The first compatible model is the plug-in hybrid 2018 BMW 530e iPerformance, but others will follow.The system consists of a pad that rests on the ground and connects to an outlet. The pad, which is water resistant and can be placed outside, contains a primary coil that transfers electricity through a magnetic field to a secondary coil located under the nose of the car.
