AESC will supply batteries to more than 400,000 electric vehicles per yearjueves, 25 abril 2019 AESC, the former Nissan battery manufacturing company, is building a new plant in China capable of producing 20 GWh of capacity per year, enough for 400,000 electric vehicles. Automotive Energy Supply (AESC), the company created by Nissan and NEC for the supply of batteries to electric cars of the Japanese manufacturer, is building a new factory in Wuxi in Jiangsu province, east of China, which will triple the capacity of production of the three current plants. The plant will start production in 2020 and with it will reach a total production capacity of 27.5 GWh per year and will allow it to cover the needs of a greater number of customers.
