The Russian company Naukasoft, specializing in electrical systems, is developing the project of an electric aircraft under the name AVF-32NS. The characteristics of the future aircraft sound quite promising, although much remains to be done. The device, called in Russian literally ‘Completely Electric Plane’, or ACE in the company’s broadcast materials, is designed to carry five passengers or about 400 kilograms of cargo at a distance of 600 kilometers.
While there are already electric airplane projects, such as the Swiss solar aircraft or the Chinese two-seater electric plane, these are technological demonstrations. Except for the German HY4 aircraft, the others are rather projects for private aviation. In turn, the Naukasoft project aims to create an apparatus with great commercial potential to transport cargo and passengers.
