Nikola Motor has raised in August half of the 200 million foreseen in this phase of its project to develop an electric truck with a fuel cell.

This week he announced that, in round C of the process, he has raised more than 100 of the estimated 200 million dollars. In this way the company has achieved in a short space of time to cover half of the marked objectives, which it expects to duplicate until the end of this phase.
By 2028, Nikola plans to have more than 700 hydrogen stations in the US. and Canada. The first fourteen stations will be operational in 2021. This means, as Trevor Milton, executive director of Nikola Motor, has indicated, the start-up of the world’s largest hydrogen network.
The main product of the project are electric trucks with fuel cells, zero-emission transport vehicles that can travel between 800 and 1,900 kilometers and will be recharged in 20 minutes. The first pilot models are planned for 2020 and will be in definitive production by 2021.
