We wish to establish certain facts that make us believe in the certainty of that possibility. And we will establish them through the data of the Global Hydrogen Coalition (Hydrogen Council). This coalition was born at the beginning of 2017 -our reference then-, at the Economic Summit of Davos. As of September 2018, it already has 53 large companies, from 11 different countries, representing 3.8 million jobs and 1.8 trillion euros in revenue. These data, in our opinion, indicate a growing interest in the global deployment of hydrogen.
Benoit Potier, CEO and President of Air Liquide and Co-Chair of the Hydrogen Council said on this issue a few days before the Global Climate Action Summit: «The level of interest in this initiative exceeded all expectations and the composition of the group – including the leaders Global energy, transport, industrial gas and other key areas – shows that global companies see hydrogen as a vital part of energy transition efforts. «
